The
print heads for the Marsh 320Si printer are based on innovative
micro-valve technology and can deliver quality print up to 1 inch
(24 mm) in height. This technology also enables the system to print
two lines of 7 dot high characters. The print heads are able to
operate with a greater throw distance (15~20 mm), allowing them
to print onto uneven surfaces such as plastic and paper sacks, and
curved surfaces such as plastic and metal drums. Marsh 320Si print
heads deliver superior print performance, with higher print resolution
and higher print speeds. Each Marsh 320Si controller is designed
to run up to a total of four (4) print heads and has the ability
to run two independent production lines at the same time (dual-tasking).
Printer control is enabled
via a 7.4" or 10.4" color touch screen graphical user
interface. This makes operation easy, and enables languages and
character sets to be changed simply and without lengthy software
reconfigurations. The controllers are housed in IP-54 rated stainless
steel enclosures, and have Ethernet connection to enable communication
with print stations and other networked devices.
Because the printheads in the Marsh 320Si build messages with a
large number of small dots instead of the smaller numbers of large
dots of competitive models, fluid consumption can be significantly
reduced. Precision manufacturing of the printheads results in more
consistent performance and greater reliability in operation.
The Marsh 320Si print
heads are designed to run with many types of fluids allowing customers
maximum flexibility with substrates and drying times. Currently
Marsh 320Si printer is available with both fast-dry MEK-based black,
blue and red inks and water-based black inks.
The Marsh 320Si ink jet
printer is backed by Videojet's TotalSource® system, the most
complete technical support program in the business. It includes
everything from expert applications assistance, to operator training
and a full spectrum of maintenance services. The TotalSource program
ensures total customer satisfaction.
